Not The Enemy
Understanding and Using the Gift Of Emotions
Not The Enemy focuses on a particular passion of mine: de-villanizing emotions. So many people come to me with a poor relationship with their emotions, that I found myself explaining over and over again that emotions aren't the enemy...they are your greatest ally and best friend. Inspired by my work as a clinician, Not The Enemy delves into how to use your emotions as simply, easy-to-understand signals of your own personal needs. Punctuated with compelling stories of the real (sometimes heart-wrenching, sometimes uplifting) experiences of my own clients, each chapter focuses on a specific step to make using your emotions simple and straightforward. From understanding what emotions really are, to using down-to-earth strategies to identify and manage them, to communicating your needs to others, this book is designed to transform the reader’s relationship with their emotions- from enemies to good friends.

The Pain Beneath The Pattern
My newest book, The Pain Beneath the Pattern, explores how the emotional wounds of our past shape the unconscious patterns we live out today, and how true healing requires going deeper than surface-level symptom management. This book helps readers identify the core beliefs and assumptions that keep them stuck in cycles of pain, while also offering practical strategies for breaking free.

Real Stories
from
Real Clients
I share real stories from real clients because healing is easier to understand when it’s lived out in everyday life, not just explained in theory. The stories that mark the beginning of each chapter help us see ourselves more clearly. They show how we feel so deeply and why, how patterns actually play out, how wounds are carried, and how healing begins.
With identifying details changed to fully protect confidentiality, I hope these examples make the process of change tangible and relatable.
Purpose
Therapy isn't for everyone. Personally, I love therapy- it would be strange if I didn’t- but there are some people who just want to pick up a book and do the work on their own. I want them to have access to the same work I do with my clients, and I’ve worked hard to make a product that is engaging, approachable, and easy for everyone to use in their daily life.
